Clamp-625 Tablet is used to manage various bacterial infections, such as:

• Ear infections

• Sinusitis, a sinus infection

• Throat infections, like pharyngitis and tonsillitis

• Lung infections, like pneumonia and bronchitis

• Urinary tract infections, like cystitis and pyelonephritis

• Skin infections, like cellulitis, impetigo, and folliculitis

• Joint and bone infections, like osteomyelitis and septic arthritis

• Dental abscesses

To use Clamp-625 Tablet correctly, follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take the medicine with or without food.

  However, taking it with a meal may decrease the risk of stomach upset.

• Remember to take the doses at evenly spaced intervals as instructed by your doctor.

• Always ensure you complete the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve before the medication is finished. This helps prevent a relapse of the infection.

Clamp-625 Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This member of the penicillin group of antibiotics aids in controlling bacterial infections by restricting the growth of bacteria. It does so by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls which eventually leads to cell death.

• Potassium clavulanate (125 mg): This beta-lactamase inhibitor plays a supporting role in enhancing amoxicillin's effectiveness. It combats certain bacteria capable of producing beta-lactamase enzymes that can break down amoxicillin. Thus, it prevents antibiotic resistance by these bacteria.

• Store Clamp-625 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.

• Ensure the container is tightly closed when not in use.

• Keep it out of reach of children.

• Use the medication before its expiration date.

• While taking this medicine for urinary tract infections, aim to drink plenty of water. This will help flush bacteria out of your body and decrease your risk of further infection.
