Cliface Gel is used for treating mild to moderate acne vulgaris, particularly effective against inflammatory acne lesions like papules and pustules. It complements comprehensive acne treatment regimens and is sometimes used alongside other topical agents like retinoids and benzoyl peroxide. In severe cases, this gel may be combined with oral antibiotics prescribed by a doctor.

To use Cliface Gel correctly, follow these steps:

• Start by gently washing your skin with a mild cleanser, then pat it dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected areas once daily or as directed by your doctor. A pea-sized amount is usually enough to cover your entire face.

• Avoid contact with your eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. If the gel does get into these areas, rinse them thoroughly with water.

• Remember to wash your hands immediately after applying the gel.

• This medicine is only for external use.

Cliface Gel is applied topically.

Cliface Gel contains two active components:

• Clindamycin (1%): This component inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level. It specifically targets Propionibacterium acnes, a major bacteria involved in acne development. By reducing these bacteria counts, clindamycin helps in decreasing skin inflammation.

• Nicotinamide (4%): When applied topically, nicotinamide acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. It reduces the swelling and redness associated with inflammatory acne lesions. Furthermore, nicotinamide also helps in regulating sebum production in the skin, which if produced in excess can lead to pore clogging and growth of acne-causing bacteria.

• Keep Cliface Gel in a cool, dry place at room temperature.

• Avoid exposing the gel to direct sunlight or heat as it may degrade its effectiveness.

• Always keep the tube tightly closed when not in use to prevent air exposure.

• Ensure that Cliface Gel is kept out of reach of children.

• Since oily skin can contribute to acne, try to limit your intake of foods high in oil and fats. Instead, opt for a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Regular exercise can also help manage acne by improving blood circulation and reducing stress levels. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity most days of the week.
