CompositionClinsol Capsule is a medicine used to treat serious bacterial infections of the skin, soft tissues, lungs, abdomen, and female reproductive organs. It is also prescribed for severe dental infections as well as bone and joint infections where other antibiotics may not be suitable.
It contains clindamycin, a lincosamide antibiotic. Take it as prescribed with a full glass of water while staying upright to prevent irritation of the throat and food pipe (oesophagus). Complete the full prescribed course even if you start feeling better, to ensure the infection is completely cleared and prevent antibiotic resistance.
Supporting your digestive system during antibiotic therapy is helpful. Maintaining adequate hydration by drinking plenty of fluid throughout the day can support general recovery and reduce digestive discomfort.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of bowel disease (such as colitis), liver problems, or severe allergies. Speak to your doctor right away if you develop severe, persistent, or watery loose motions (diarrhoea) during or after treatment.
