Clinxa-A Gel is used for the following:

• Managing the skin condition known as acne vulgaris: This is a common skin issue characterised by blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples.

• Reducing the growth and spread of acne-causing bacteria: The medication works to inhibit the bacteria Cutibacterium acnes.

• Preventing new acne lesions from forming: Regular use of Clinxa-A Gel can help keep your skin clear.

• Unclogging pores: It helps to keep pores open, reducing the likelihood of blackheads and whiteheads forming.

• Reducing inflammation in the skin: This helps to calm redness and swelling associated with acne.

Use Clinxa-A Gel as suggested below:

• Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Gently apply a thin layer of the gel over the entire area affected by acne, not just on individual pimples.

• Avoid contact with your eyes, lips, angles of your nose, and mucous membranes.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this gel to avoid spreading bacteria.

• Consult your doctor if you experience excessive drying or peeling of your skin. You may need to adjust how often you use Clinxa-A Gel.

Clinxa-A Gel is applied topically.

Clinxa-A Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1%): This antibiotic works by halting the growth of Corynebacterium acnes bacteria that cause acne inflammation. By doing so, clindamycin helps to reduce acne bumps, pus-filled lesions, and redness on your skin.

• Adapalene (0.1%): As a retinoid derived from vitamin A, adapalene affects the growth and regeneration of skin cells. It normalises skin cell growth and reduces inflammation in the skin. This process decreases the formation of blackheads and whiteheads, unclogs pores, and facilitates skin healing.

The combination of adapalene and clindamycin in Clinxa-A Gel provides a comprehensive approach to managing acne by addressing clogged pores, excess oil production, bacterial infection, and inflammation associated with acne vulgaris.

• Store Clinxa-A Gel at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Avoid freezing the gel or exposing it to extreme heat.

• Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use to prevent exposure to air.

• Always keep Clinxa-A Gel out of the reach of children.

• Since Clinxa-A Gel is used to manage acne, try to maintain a diet low in processed foods and sugars which can trigger acne. Include more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your meals.

• Regular exercise can help improve blood circulation, promoting healthier skin and reducing acne breakouts. However, ensure you clean your skin thoroughly after sweating to avoid clogging pores.
