Clofert 50 Tablet is used for the following reasons:

• Helping women with ovulation difficulties to conceive

• Managing infertility in females diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

• Stimulating the release of reproductive hormones to enhance fertility

Follow these instructions while taking Clofert 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• The medicine should be taken at the same time each day, with or without food.

• It is important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

• Ensure you do not exceed the recommended duration of treatment as advised by your doctor.

Clofert 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Clofert 50 Tablet contains clomifene (50 mg). The mechanisms by which clomifene impacts the body include:

• Modulating Oestrogen Receptors: Clomifene binds to oestrogen receptors in your body. These receptors are like switches that control various bodily functions.

• Blockage of Negative Feedback Loop: By binding to these receptors, clomifene effectively interrupts a 'negative feedback loop' that usually suppresses the production of two key hormones - follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH).
