Cloff 250 Dry Syrup is used for managing the health conditions as listed below:

To give your child Cloff 250 Dry Syrup, follow these instructions:

• Reconstitute the dry syrup with water as per the product insert instructions.

• Shake well before each use to ensure the medicine is well mixed.

• This medicine can be given with or without food, depending on your child's comfort.

• Store the reconstituted suspension in a cool place not exceeding 25°C and use it within 7 days.

Clarithromycin (250 MG) is the sole active ingredient in Cloff 250 Dry Syrup. It has the following effect:

• Bacteriostatic Effect: Clarithromycin works by reversibly binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria. This action effectively inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, which halts bacterial growth.

• Broad Spectrum Activity: Clarithromycin has a broad spectrum of activity against various types of bacteria, including gram-positive, gram-negative, and atypical bacteria like Streptococcus, Haemophilus, Moraxella, Legionella, Mycoplasma, and Chlamydia species.

• Metabolite Action: The 14-hydroxy metabolite of clarithromycin also carries significant antimicrobial activity, which contributes to its overall effectiveness against bacterial infections.

• Store the Cloff 250 Dry Syrup in a cool, dry place where the temperature does not exceed 25°C.

• Avoid exposure to excessive light or moisture.
