Consivas-ASP Capsule is used for the following:

Consivas-ASP Capsule comprises two key ingredients that each play a distinct role in protecting your heart health:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This ingredient acts as an antiplatelet agent. It works by permanently blocking an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX) that is involved in producing substances like thromboxanes and prostaglandins. By inhibiting thromboxane A2 synthesis, aspirin reduces the clumping together of platelets, which helps prevent blood clot formation and consequently lowers the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This component is a part of the statin family of medicines. It works by blocking an enzyme known as HMG-CoA reductase that is responsible for cholesterol production in your liver. By doing so, rosuvastatin effectively lowers the levels of 'bad' cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein or LDL) and triglycerides in your blood, while slightly raising your 'good' cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein or HDL) levels.
