The activity of this lotion is attributed to two active ingredients:

Its function involves inducing proteins known as lipocortins that inhibit phospholipase A2, an enzyme involved in producing inflammation mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. • Salicylic Acid (3%): Acting as a keratolytic agent, salicylic acid helps soften and loosen dry or thickened skin, facilitating easy shedding. It enhances moisture in the skin and dissolves the intercellular cement that holds skin cells together. This action promotes skin exfoliation, unclogs pores, and aids in healing skin lesions.
