Danfree Shampoo 100ml

Danfree Shampoo is an antifungal treatment primarily used to address fungal infections of the skin, including ringworm, jock itch, and athlete's foot. It is also effective for seborrheic dermatitis, which causes dry, flaky skin on the face, scalp, chest, upper back, or ears, as well as pityriasis, a skin rash that leads to scaling.

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with water.
• Apply a sufficient amount of Danfree Shampoo to your scalp.
• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp, working it into a lather. Make sure to cover the entire scalp area.
• Leave the shampoo on your scalp for 5 minutes. It allows the active ingredient, ketoconazole, to have sufficient contact time with the scalp.
• Rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly with water to remove all the shampoo.

Danfree Shampoo is intended for external use only.

Danfree Shampoo contains the following component:

• Ketoconazole (1% w/v): It is an azole derivative. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membranes. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungi. It effectively reduces scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation and promotes a healthier scalp.

• Store it in a cool place. 
• Protect it from light.
• Keep Danfree Shampoo away from children.

• Stress can contribute to the worsening of many scalp conditions. Practice meditation or engage in activities to reduce stress levels.
• Protect your scalp from harsh weather conditions. Wear a hat when exposed to strong sunlight or extreme weather conditions.
• Scratching can worsen scalp conditions and lead to further irritation or infection. Resist the urge to scratch and find alternative ways to relieve any itchiness.
• Choose gentle, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners suitable for your specific scalp condition. 
• Avoid excessive heat or styling products that can damage your hair and scalp.
• Avoid washing your hair too often. It can strip away natural oils and contribute to dryness. 
• Certain hair products, including hair dyes, bleaches, and styling products containing alcohol, can further dry out and damage your hair. Avoid or minimise such products and opt for more gentle, natural alternatives.
