• Cationic medicines: Medicines like amiloride, procainamide, and ranitidine might reduce metformin elimination from your body when used with this tablet.
• Inducers of CYP2C8: Medicines like rifampin, when used with this tablet, can decrease pioglitazone concentration in your body.

High-fat meals: Consuming fatty foods may delay absorption of glimepiride in Debistal GM 2 Tablet, affecting blood sugar control.

• Heart disease: Pioglitazone in this medicine can cause or worsen heart failure, especially if you suffer from heart disease.

• Lactic acidosis: Metformin can lead to the rare but fatal lactic acidosis, a concern if you have kidney problems or severe liver disease.

• Diabetes: This medication is not suitable for managing type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
