Defcort 6 Tablet is used to manage inflammation and autoimmune conditions such as asthma, arthritis, allergies, and skin disorders. It helps reduce swelling and modulates overactive immune responses, providing symptomatic relief. The tablet contains deflazacort, a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system’s activity.

It is used to treat various autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, autoimmune hepatitis, sarcoidosis, joint and muscle diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, and allergies & asthma. It is also used in cancer treatment.

Defcort 6 Tablet is used to manage inflammatory conditions affecting muscles and joints, such as arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used to treat asthma, allergies, autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), and inflammation related to cancer treatment.

Take the tablet with a glass of water.
Swallow the tablet as a whole, do not crush or chew it.
This medication can be taken with or without food, but taking it at a fixed time is advisable.

Defcort 6 Tablet should be taken orally.

Common side effects of Defcort 6 Tablet include headache, upset stomach, increased weight, mood swings, and irregular periods.

Managing the Side Effects:

Most of the side effects of Defcort 6 Tablet are usually mild and often do not require urgent medical attention. They improve with continued usage of the medicine. However, if the side effects persist, worsen, or something other than that listed above occurs, inform your doctor immediately.

Defcort 6 Tablet contains the following component:

The anti-inflammatory effect is due to the inhibition of certain chemicals which cause inflammation. Immunosuppressive property reduces the sensitivity of the immune system.
