Deriva-BPO Gel is used to manage acne vulgaris by reducing inflammation, preventing blocked pores, and inhibiting bacterial growth. It helps improve the appearance of acne-prone skin by normalizing follicular keratinization and reducing the spread of Cutibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible for acne. Regular use helps clear existing breakouts and prevents new pimples, providing clearer, smoother skin over time.

Apply Deriva-BPO Gel as suggested below:

• Start by ensuring that your skin is clean and dry. You can wash the area with soap and water, then pat it dry using a clean towel.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area. Make sure to avoid contact with your eyes, lips, nostrils, mucous membranes, and angles of your nose.

• Avoid covering the treated area with dressings or bandages after application.

• Always remember to wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel to prevent any potential spread of bacteria. 

Deriva-BPO Gel is applied topically.

Deriva-BPO Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Adapalene (0.1% w/w): This retinoid works on your skin cells to regulate their growth and differentiation. It does this by binding with specific receptors in your body called retinoic acid receptors. The result is a reduction in the buildup of skin cells that can block pores and cause spots.

• Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5% w/w): This keratolytic agent works by releasing oxygen radicals that attack bacterial proteins within sebaceous follicles. This reduces the population of Cutibacterium acnes, a bacterium associated with acne development. Additionally, it helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, leaving it smoother and less prone to blockage.

• Store Deriva-BPO Gel at room temperature. 

• It should not be frozen and should be kept away from direct sunlight.

• Ensure that the tube is tightly closed when not in use to prevent air or moisture exposure.

• Always keep Deriva-BPO Gel out of reach of children.

• Use the product before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• To help manage acne, avoid foods high in sugar and fat, as they can trigger oil production, which may worsen your acne condition. Opt for fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains instead.

• As Deriva-BPO Gel can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, it's vital to protect your skin when you're outdoors. Wear protective clothing and use a sunscreen with a high SPF to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
