Dilnip-T 40/10 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure.

Uses of Dilnip-T 40/10 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines two medicines for better blood pressure control.
• Angina: Helps manage the chest pain of angina.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney damage.

1. Swallow the whole tablet with a full glass of water.
2. Avoid crushing, breaking or chewing the tablet.
3. Do not abruptly stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Dilnip-T 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Dilnip-T 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker. It inhibits the movement of calcium into the cells of your heart and blood vessels. As a result, it helps to relax blood vessel walls and decrease the workload of the heart.
• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It blocks a substance in the body that is the reason for tight blood vessels. As a result, cause relaxation to the blood vessels and lower blood pressure, allowing more efficient oxygen and nutrient delivery to your organs.

• Store Dilnip-T 40 Tablet in its original packaging to protect it from light, moisture, and air.
• Store below 30 degrees Celsius.
• Ensure to keep the tablet out of the reach of children.
• Always remember to use this medicine before the expiry date mentioned on the pack.

• Since Dilnip-T 40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, limit your salt intake. Excess salt can raise your blood pressure levels.
• Incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet. These foods are rich in potassium which can help control your blood pressure.
• Try to maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight can increase your blood pressure.
