Drep C Ear Drops 10ml

• Otitis externa (outer ear infection): Drep C Ear Drops are commonly used to combat fungal and bacterial infections contributing to the outer ear infection. It reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching associated with the infection.
• Otitis media (middle ear infection): These ear drops are not typically used for middle ear infections. It helps reduce ear pain and fluid discharge from the ear and alleviates ear discomfort.

• Hold the bottle in your hand for one or two minutes to warm the solution. Shake the bottle well.
• Gently squeeze the bottle and instil 4 to 5 drops of solution in the ear. 
• Press the skin flap in the ear and lie down for 60 secs to let the medication enter the ear canal.
• Repeat steps for another ear if necessary. Tighten the bottle cap after use.

Drep C Ear Drops are administered topically by instilling them directly into the ear. It should not be ingested orally or administered through any other route.

The activities of the active ingredients in Drep C Ear Drops are as follows:

• Clotrimazole (1 %): Clotrimazole is an antifungal ingredient. It fights against fungi that may be present in the ear, helping to treat fungal infections.
• Lidocaine / Lignocaine (2 %): It is a numbing agent. It temporarily reduces pain and discomfort in the ear by numbing the area.

• Store Drep C Ear Drops at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Drep C Ear Drops away from children.
• Do not use this after the expiry date has passed.

• Keep the affected ear clean and dry. Avoid inserting cotton swabs or other objects into the ear canal, as it can cause further irritation or damage.
• Gently clean the outer part of the ear with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid excessive cleaning or aggressive scratching, as it may worsen the condition.
• Minimise water exposure, especially when dealing with otitis externa. Moisture can promote the growth of bacteria or fungi, prolonging the infection.
