Ducira Eye Gel 10gm

Ducira Gel is used for:

• Managing symptoms of dry eye syndrome

• Providing lubrication to the ocular surface

• Reducing discomfort associated with dry eyes

• Supplementing the eye's natural tears

• Maintaining moisture on the eye surface

• Easing irritation due to prolonged digital screen exposure

• Helping eyes recover post-LASIK surgery

• Assisting in managing dry eyes caused by certain medications and autoimmune disorders

Here's how you should apply Ducira Gel:

• Clean your hands thoroughly before applying.

• Follow your doctor's prescribed dose and duration.

• Read the label for instructions before using.

• Hold the tube near the eye without touching it.

• Squeeze gently and apply the prescribed amount of medicine inside the lower eyelid.

• If you're wearing contact lenses, remove them.

• If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult your doctor.

• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface since this may contaminate the gel.

• Replace the cap immediately after use.

• Remember, always consult your doctor for specific advice on using this medication.

• Use within one month after opening the container.

Ducira Gel is applied topically.

Ducira Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) (0.3 %): Working as a lubricating agent with bioadhesive properties, HPMC adheres to the ocular surface providing lasting lubrication. By attracting moisture and stabilising the tear film, it hydrates and protects the eye surface. This reduces friction during blinking and mimics healthy tear composition and consistency.

• Sodium perborate monohydrate (0.028 %): Upon contact with the eye, sodium perborate gradually releases oxygen acting as a mild antiseptic. The released oxygen produces a foam that gently cleanses the eye and eyelid margins. Sodium perborate also has anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe ocular irritation.

• Store Ducira Gel at normal room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep away from excessive heat and moisture.

• Avoid storing in bathrooms due to humidity.

• Shield from direct light and air exposure.

• Remember to keep it out of reach of children.

• If you're spending a lot of time in front of digital screens. This can help manage eye dryness caused by prolonged screen time.

• Staying hydrated is important for overall health, but it's especially crucial for managing dry eyes. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
