Duolin Rotacaps 60

Duolin Rotacaps are used to relieve wheezing, cough and breathlessness in asthma and COPD in adults by opening the airways.

Uses of Duolin Rotacaps:

• Asthma: Relieves wheezing, cough and breathlessness.
• COPD: Helps ease ongoing breathing difficulty.

• Take Duolin Rotacaps with a revolizer. Do not swallow.
• To open, hold the revolizer at the base with one hand and pull back the mouthpiece.
• Remove a rotacap from its bottle. Insert the rotacap into the rotacap chamber with the transparent end facing down.
• Close the mouthpiece firmly. A click sound indicates proper closing of the revolizer.
• Breathe out fully through the mouth. Position the mouthpiece between the teeth and close the lips tightly around it. Sit or stand upright, keep your head straight, and breathe in through the mouth rapidly and deeply. When done correctly, you will hear the rotacap vibrating inside the revolizer.
• Remove the revolizer from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds or for as long as it is comfortable. Breathe out normally. In case some powder remains in the rotacap chamber, repeat the previous step. Ensure that no powder remains in the rotacap chamber.
• After every use, open the mouthpiece (till both the arrows meet) and discard the empty rotacap. 
• Close the mouthpiece and store the revolizer in the convenient carry pouch provided.

Duolin Rotacaps are inhaled orally through a revolizer.

Duolin Rotacaps includes the following components: 

• Ipratropium (40 mcg): It is a bronchodilator that helps to relax and widen the airways in your lungs. It blocks specific chemical signals in the body that can cause the muscles around your airways to tighten. By relaxing these muscles, ipratropium helps to improve airflow and make it easier for you to breathe.
• Levosalbutamol (100 mcg): It is also a bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in your airways. Levosalbutamol explicitly targets the small air passages called bronchioles. Acting on these muscles helps widen the airways and allows more air to flow in and out of your lungs. It helps alleviate symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing.

• If you're a smoker, quit smoking to manage COPD symptoms.
• Minimise exposure to allergens like dust mites, pet dander, pollen, or mold, which can trigger bronchospasm. 
• Keep your living environment clean, and consider using air purifiers if necessary.
• Avoid exposure to smoke, strong odours, and chemical fumes, as they can irritate the airways and trigger bronchospasm.
