Duonase Nasal Spray 7gm

Duonase Nasal Spray is used to manage allergic rhinitis (hay fever) by relieving symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and nasal itching. It provides long-lasting relief from seasonal and year-round allergies, improving nasal comfort.

• Before the first use, prime the nasal spray bottle by releasing 6 sprays until a fine mist appears.
• If the spray has not been used for 14 days or more, re-prime it with 1 spray.
• Shake the bottle gently before each use.
• Ensure that the spray is instilled only in your nose and not in your eyes or mouth.
• Make sure you do not aim the spray against the middle part of your nose (nasal septum).

Duonase Nasal Spray is instilled nasally.

Duonase Nasal Spray has two active components, azelastine hydrochloride and fluticasone propionate that work in the following way:

• Azelastine hydrochloride (140 mcg): As an antihistamine, azelastine hydrochloride works by blocking histamine, a chemical released during an allergic reaction that triggers symptoms like sneezing, itching and increased secretions. It helps alleviate these symptoms.
• Fluticasone propionate (50 mcg): This is a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effects. It reduces swelling and inflammation in the nasal passages by preventing inflammatory cells from releasing chemicals that cause allergy symptoms.

• Store Duonase Nasal Spray under 30°C and protect from light.

• Do not refrigerate or freeze the product.

• Keep it away from children to avoid accidental intake or misuse.

• Always check the expiry date before using.

• If you are dealing with allergic rhinitis, try to identify and then avoid known allergens that might worsen your symptoms. This could include dust mites, pet dander, pollen, or certain foods.
