• Sorbitol-containing products: Lamivudine in Duovir-N Tablet may have reduced effectiveness when taken with sorbitol-containing medicines.

• Antibiotics: Medicines like trimethoprim can increase the concentration of lamivudine in your body, which might lead to increased side effects.

• Other anti-HIV medications: Lamivudine in this medicine can interfere with the action of zalcitabine, another medicine used in the management of HIV.

• Herbal supplements: Nevirapine's effectiveness may be decreased when taken with St. John's wort, a herbal supplement.

• Antitubercular medicine: Rifampin can decrease the effectiveness of nevirapine in Duovir-N Tablet.

• Anticoagulant: The blood thinning effect of warfarin may be altered when taken with nevirapine.

Duovir-N Tablet interacts with the following foods:

• High-fat meals: Taking Duovir-N Tablet with a high-fat meal can increase your body's absorption of nevirapine, possibly leading to increased side effects.

• Hepatic impairment: If you have problems with your liver, this medicine could cause further complications as the liver processes it.
