Dutacet Tablet 10 is used to manage urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia in adult men.

Dutacet Tablet comprises dutasteride (0.5 mg), which acts on the body as follows:

• Blocks 5-alpha-reductase: Dutasteride functions by obstructing a body enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme is instrumental in converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

• Reduces DHT levels: By impeding the activity of 5-alpha-reductase, dutasteride effectively decreases DHT levels. As DHT plays a significant role in the enlargement of the prostate gland, reducing DHT levels helps to shrink the prostate and alleviate BPH symptoms.

• Store Dutacet Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature, around 25 degrees Celsius.
