Dytor Injection is a loop diuretic used to treat fluid overload (edema) associated with heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disorders. It contains Torsemide, which increases the production of urine by preventing the kidneys from reabsorbing too much salt and water. This rapid removal of excess fluid helps reduce swelling in the legs, abdomen, and lungs.
By decreasing the volume of fluid circulating in the body, the injection also helps lower blood pressure and eases the workload on the heart. It is particularly useful for hospitalized patients who require immediate relief from breathlessness caused by fluid in the lungs. It provides a strong and long-lasting diuretic effect compared to some other common diuretics.
This injection must be administered under medical supervision. Your doctor will monitor your blood pressure and electrolyte levels (like potassium and sodium) regularly during treatment. Inform your doctor if you have a history of gout or severe kidney problems.
