Dytor Injection 2ml

Dytor Injection is used to treat fluid retention (edema) caused by heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disorders. It helps remove excess fluid from the body, reducing swelling and breathlessness. The injection also supports blood pressure control by lowering fluid overload in the circulation.

• A healthcare provider should administer Dytor injection. It is not recommended to be self-administered.

Dytor injection is administered intravenously.

• Torsemide, the active ingredient in Dytor Injection, works by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the kidney. It prevents the reabsorption of these ions back into the bloodstream. The effect increases urine production and excretion of excess fluid from the body.
• By promoting urine production, torsemide helps to reduce oedema (fluid retention) associated with various conditions such as congestive heart failure, renal disease, and hepatic disease. It also aids in lowering blood pressure by reducing blood volume and decreasing the workload on the heart.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 25 ºC. Do not freeze the injection.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Dytor injection away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Reduce consumption of processed and packaged foods high in sodium.
• Read food labels to identify the sodium content.
• Limit your daily fluid intake, including beverages and foods with high water content.
• Monitor protein intake as guided by a doctor.
• Include lean protein sources such as poultry, fish, legumes, and tofu.
• Consume moderate amounts of potassium-rich foods such as bananas and oranges under the doctor's supervision.
• Avoid excessive consumption of fluids in the evening.
• Limit alcohol intake to moderate levels as advised by your doctor.
