CompositionEbast-M Tablet is used to manage allergic conditions such as dust allergies, hay fever and chronic allergic rhinitis, helping reduce nasal blockage, sneezing and watery eyes.
It combines ebastine, a long-acting antihistamine, with montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, which together target allergic reactions. Take it as prescribed, typically in the evening, with or without food.
Identifying and avoiding known allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen or pet dander, and keeping indoor spaces well ventilated, can help reduce how often symptoms occur alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, mood changes, or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice unusual mood changes, sleep disturbances or behavioural changes during treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Montelukast can cause serious mood or behaviour changes; for allergic rhinitis it is generally reserved for people who do not respond to or cannot tolerate alternative treatments.
