Econorm Capsule 6

Econorm Capsule is used to treat and prevent diarrhea by restoring the gut balance disrupted by infections or antibiotics. It is effective for conditions like rotaviral diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, Clostridium difficile infection, and traveler’s diarrhea, and is also beneficial for managing conditions like Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and IBS.

• Swallow the whole capsule with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your capsule dose or take it more often than prescribed.

Econorm Capsule is taken orally.

Econorm Capsule contains the following component:

• Saccharomyces boulardii (250 mg): It is a yeast that helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut. It reduces the growth of harmful bacteria or yeast and promotes the growth of beneficial microorganisms. This yeast can help improve bowel movements, reduce diarrhoea, and alleviate abdominal discomfort.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the Econorm Capsule away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of larger ones. It will ease digestion and reduce the likelihood of triggering IBS symptoms.
• Consider incorporating probiotic-rich foods like yoghurt, kefir, and kimchi into your diet. It can help restore the balance of healthy gut bacteria disrupted by antibiotics or infections.
• Once diarrhoea starts to improve, reintroduce solid foods gradually. Start with bland and easily digestible foods before gradually adding more complex foods.
