Efcorlin Injection is used to treat adrenal insufficiency, severe allergic reactions, and inflammatory conditions. It is prescribed for respiratory diseases, autoimmune disorders such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and serious skin conditions like pemphigus. The injection is also used in certain eye, blood, collagen, and cancer-related conditions as supportive or palliative therapy.

• This medicine is administered intravenously or intramuscularly.

Efcorlin 100 MG Injection contains hydrocortisone (100 mg) and functions in the following ways:

• Mimics Adrenal Hormones: Hydrocortisone replicates the effects of hormones that are naturally produced in the adrenal glands.
• Anti-inflammatory Action: Hydrocortisone attaches itself to glucocorticoid receptors inside the cells, which stimulates anti-inflammatory gene expression while suppressing pro-inflammatory genes. This leads to a reduction in inflammation.
