Effenac AB Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

To administer Effenac AB Tablet, adhere to these guidelines:

Effenac AB Tablet is taken orally.

Effenac AB Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Acebrophylline (100 mg): This component acts as a bronchodilator and mucolytic agent. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of your airways, which leads to bronchodilator, a widening of the air passages in your lungs. Additionally, acebrophylline reduces inflammation and decreases the stickiness of mucus secretions in your lungs.

• Acetylcysteine (600 mg): As a mucolytic medicine, acetylcysteine breaks down mucus and makes it less sticky. This action allows you to cough out mucus more easily, improving airflow and reducing the risk of infections.
