Composition

Amoxicillin (500 Mg) + Clavulanic Acid (125 Mg)

Elmox CV 625 Duo Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, ears, nose, throat, urinary tract, skin, teeth, and bones and joints, including some caused by bacteria that resist ordinary penicillins.

It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects the amoxicillin from the enzymes some bacteria use to resist it.

Take it with food as prescribed, and complete the full course even if you feel better early.

Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, or any liver or kidney problems, before use. Report a severe rash, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or persistent or severe diarrhoea.

Elmox CV 625 Duo Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections.

Uses of Elmox CV 625 Duo Tablet are:

Respiratory and ENT Infections: Treats chest, sinus, throat and ear infections.
Urinary, Skin and Dental Infections: Treats urinary, skin and dental infections.
Bone and Joint Infections: Treats certain bone and joint infections.

To use Elmox CV 625 Duo Tablet correctly, you should:

Its main function is to protect amoxicillin from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria. By doing so, it extends the spectrum of activity of amoxicillin to include beta-lactamase-producing strains.
