Embeta XR-100 Tablet is used for the following health conditions:

• Managing high blood pressure also known as hypertension

• Helping to prevent and control chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart, a condition called angina pectoris

• Assisting in the management of symptoms of heart failure

• Lowering the risk of further heart attacks and reducing mortality risk in adults who have suffered a heart attack, referred to as post-myocardial infarction

Here's how you should take Embeta XR-100 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or dividing the tablet.

• If needed, the tablet can be carefully cut in half along the score line.

• Do not take more than what is recommended by your doctor.

Embeta XR-100 Tablet is taken orally.

Embeta XR-100 Tablet contains metoprolol succinate (100 mg), which acts on your body in several ways:

• Reduces Heart Rate: Metoprolol succinate slows down your heart rate, which decreases the workload on your heart.
