Endogest 200 SR Tablet is used for the following:

• Providing HRT for menopausal women

• Balancing the effects of oestrogen and reducing the risk of endometrial hyperplasia

• Managing menstrual irregularities in women

• Inducing menstrual periods in cases of amenorrhoea

• Preparing the uterus for pregnancy in fertility treatment plans

• You should swallow the tablet whole with a meal.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• It is crucial to take the medicine at the same time each day for optimal results.

• Always take the medicine in the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine without first discussing it with your doctor.

Endogest 200 SR Tablet is taken orally.

Endogest 200 SR Tablet contains progesterone (200 mg) as the active ingredient. It works in the human body in the following manner:

• Progesterone works by causing changes in the uterus. It regulates the growth and shedding of the endometrium (the uterus lining), thus promoting a regular menstrual cycle.

• It also counteracts the proliferative effects of oestrogen on the endometrium, maintaining it in a state receptive to a fertilised egg to implant and grow.

• Progesterone also plays a crucial role during pregnancy by supporting the growth and development of the foetus.

• Keep Endogest 200 SR Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25° Celsius.

• Store it away from excessive heat and direct light.

• Ensure the medicine is stored in a dry place, away from moisture.

• Always keep this tablet out of reach of children.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.
