Enoxarin 40 Injection 0.4ml

Enoxarin-40 Injection is used for the following:

• Preventing deep vein thrombosis in individuals undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery, abdominal surgery, or who are at risk due to severely restricted mobility

• Reducing the risk of ischemic complications in people with unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction

• Managing acute deep vein thrombosis with or without pulmonary embolism.

• Helping to prevent clotting in the extracorporeal circulation during hemodialysis

Administer Enoxarin-40 Injection as per these guidelines:

• Always clean the injection site with a sterilised cotton swab before administration.

• The injection should be administered subcutaneously, under the skin, as directed by your doctor.

• The usual site for subcutaneous injections is the abdominal region.

• Rotate the injection sites to avoid repeated use of the same area.

Enoxarin-40 Injection is administered subcutaneously, which means it is injected just under the skin.

Enoxarin-40 Injection contains Enoxaparin (40 mg). Here's how this active ingredient works in your body:

• Enhances the Inhibition of Factor Xa and Thrombin: Enoxaparin enhances the activity of a natural substance in your body known as antithrombin III (ATIII). ATIII helps inhibit clot-promoting substances Factor Xa and thrombin, thereby preventing clot formation.

• Disrupts the Blood Coagulation Cascade: By inhibiting Factor Xa and thrombin, enoxaparin disrupts the blood coagulation cascade. This is a series of reactions that your body carries out to form blood clots. By disrupting this process, enoxaparin prevents the formation and growth of blood clots.

• High Ratio of anti-Factor Xa to anti-Factor IIa Activity: Compared to regular heparin, enoxaparin has a higher ratio of anti-Factor Xa to anti-Factor IIa activity. This means it's more effective in preventing Factor Xa from promoting clot formation.

• Keep your Enoxarin-40 Injection in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays between 20-25°C.
