Envas-H Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It combines enalapril, an ACE inhibitor, with hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, to help control blood pressure more effectively than either medicine alone.
This medicine is usually prescribed when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by enalapril or hydrochlorothiazide alone. Take the tablet as prescribed, with or without food, and continue taking it regularly, even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often causes no symptoms and may worsen if treatment is stopped suddenly.
Reducing salt in your diet, maintaining a healthy weight, taking regular exercise, and limiting alcohol intake can help support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, gout, diabetes, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if you notice a persistent dry cough, swelling of the face or throat, or signs of dehydration such as dizziness. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
