CompositionEptoin 100 Tablet is used to control and prevent epileptic seizures in adults and children, including partial-onset and generalised tonic-clonic seizures.
It contains phenytoin (100 mg), an anti-epileptic medicine. Take it at the same time every day as prescribed; do not stop it suddenly without medical advice, and do not switch brands without consulting your doctor, as small differences between brands can affect seizure control.
A regular routine with good sleep, taking doses on time and attending all monitoring appointments for blood drug levels support your treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver disease, porphyria or pregnancy before starting, and about all other medicines you take, as phenytoin has many drug interactions. Report gum swelling, skin rash, loss of balance or unusual bruising promptly.
