Eritel LN 80 Tablet is used for:

• Managing high blood pressure, also known as hypertension

• Initial therapy in patients who require multiple medications to control their blood pressure

• Substitution therapy for patients already using the individual components separately

Make sure you follow these guidelines when taking Eritel LN 80 Tablet:

• Swallow one tablet at a time with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, skip it if it's nearing the time for your next dose.

Eritel LN 80 Tablet is taken orally.

Eritel LN 80 Tablet is composed of two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (80 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), telmisartan blocks the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor in various tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland. This blockage inhibits the blood vessel constricting and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, decreasing vascular resistance and blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine inhibits the entry of calcium ions into your vascular smooth muscle cells and heart muscle cells. This action leads to vasodilation, which reduces peripheral vascular resistance and lowers blood pressure. Additionally, cilnidipine suppresses the release of norepinephrine by inhibiting the N-type calcium channels in the nerve endings of your sympathetic nervous system, contributing to its blood pressure-lowering effect.

• Store Eritel LN 80 Tablet safely at room temperature, ideally between 10°C to 25°C.
