Eslo 5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and prevent angina (chest pain). It helps lower blood pressure and reduce the heart's workload, which can prevent heart attacks and strokes.

Here are some instructions on how to take Eslo-5 Tablet:

• Consume this medicine orally with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole. Avoid crushing, chewing, or breaking it.

• To achieve optimal results, try to take your dose at the same time each day.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. Always consult your doctor before making any changes to how you take this medication.

Eslo-5 Tablet contains S-Amlodipine (5 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Blocks Calcium Ion Influx: S-Amlodipine inhibits the flow of calcium ions into the cells of your blood vessel walls and heart muscles.

• Promotes Vasodilation: By blocking the influx of calcium ions, S-Amlodipine causes relaxation and widening of your blood vessels, a process known as vasodilation.

• Reduces Heart Workload: With relaxed and widened blood vessels, there is less resistance against which the heart has to pump blood. This reduces the workload on your heart and lowers its oxygen demand.

• Prevents Angina: The improved flow of blood ensures that your heart muscle receives adequate oxygen supply which helps prevent chest pain or angina.

• Store Eslo-5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Retain it in its original packaging to shield it from moisture.

• Position it out of sight and reach of children.

• To help manage high blood pressure, try to reduce your salt intake. Too much salt can raise your blood pressure.
