CompositionEsomer L Capsule is primarily used to manage gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and dyspepsia. It combines a proton pump inhibitor with a prokinetic agent.
The proton pump inhibitor component lowers acid secretion in the stomach, while the prokinetic agent improves food movement through the stomach, together relieving acid reflux, indigestion and bloating caused by excessive stomach acid.
Take this capsule before a meal, generally in the morning, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue for the duration advised for your particular condition.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of movement disorders, as the prokinetic component can rarely cause unusual muscle movements. Long-term use of the acid-suppressing component can affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels, so tell your doctor if you notice unusual tiredness or muscle cramps.
