Esoz Tablet 15

Esoz Tablet is used to reduce the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), such as heartburn, and helps prevent damage to the esophagus. It also promotes healing and prevents further damage in erosive esophagitis, and reduces the risk of stomach ulcers, especially in those taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Additionally, this tablet works in conjunction with antibiotics to manage stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori infection and controls Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition leading to excessive stomach acid production.

Directions for Use

Here's how you should take Esoz Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, splitting, or chewing the tablet.

• Take the medicine at least one hour before your meal.

• Do not take more than what your doctor has recommended.

• Consult your doctor before stopping this medication.

Esoz Tablet is taken orally.

Esoz Tablet contains esomeprazole (40 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Proton Pump Inhibition: Esomeprazole works by irreversibly blocking proton pumps in your stomach's acid-secreting cells known as parietal cells. These proton pumps are responsible for secreting stomach acid.

• Reducing Acid Production: By inhibiting these proton pumps, esomeprazole effectively reduces the production of stomach acid. This aids in healing the oesophagus and relieving symptoms of acid reflux.

• Keep Esoz Tablet in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.

• Store this medicine at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Make sure that you keep Esoz Tablet out of sight and reach of children.

• Always use the medicine before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• If you're taking Esoz Tablet for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), try to avoid spicy or fatty foods as they could increase acid reflux.
