CompositionEstroplus Tablet is used to prevent pregnancy and regulate menstrual cycles. It is a combined oral contraceptive containing ethinyl estradiol, an oestrogen, and dienogest, a progestogen.
This medicine also helps manage conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), heavy menstrual bleeding and severe period pain, by preventing ovulation and making the uterus less receptive to a fertilised egg.
Avoid smoking while taking this medicine, as it increases certain health risks.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, migraine with aura, liver disease or breast cancer before starting this tablet. Report leg swelling, chest pain, a sudden severe headache or vision changes to your doctor immediately. Attend regular blood pressure check-ups as advised.
