Eumosone Cream is used to treat inflamed skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and insect-bite reactions. It contains clobetasone, a mild corticosteroid that helps reduce redness, itching, and swelling of the affected skin.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area as directed by your doctor, and gently rub it in. Avoid applying it to broken, infected, or weeping skin unless advised by your doctor. Continue using it for the prescribed duration, even if your skin starts to look better, to help prevent the condition from returning.
Keeping the skin well moisturised with a fragrance-free emollient can help support healing and reduce dryness. Avoid known irritants such as harsh soaps, hot water, and tight synthetic clothing over the treated area, as these can worsen skin inflammation.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any existing skin infections, thinning skin, or known sensitivities to steroid creams. Avoid using it on the face, groin, or underarms for long periods unless your doctor advises otherwise. Stop using it and consult your doctor if irritation or skin thinning develops.
