CompositionEvion LC Tablet is a nutritional supplement used when a doctor advises extra vitamin E and L-carnitine, such as in certain cases of male infertility linked to poor sperm movement, or where low carnitine levels have been found. It is a combination medicine containing vitamin E 200mg, an antioxidant vitamin, and L-carnitine 150mg, a nutrient involved in energy production in cells.
This medicine works by protecting cells from damage caused by unstable molecules called free radicals, while L-carnitine helps carry fats into cells so they can be used for energy. Take it as directed by your doctor, after food.
It is not a proven treatment for general tiredness, muscle cramps or low energy, and a balanced diet remains the main source of vitamins. Do not take it with other vitamin E supplements unless your doctor advises.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you take blood thinners such as warfarin, as high doses of vitamin E can increase bleeding risk, or if you have a bleeding disorder, an underactive thyroid, epilepsy, kidney problems, planned surgery, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
