CompositionFlavospas Tablet is used to relieve muscle spasms of the urinary tract and ease bladder pain, urgency and frequent urination. It is a single-ingredient urinary antispasmodic medicine containing flavoxate.
This medicine is commonly used for bladder irritation caused by conditions such as cystitis or prostatitis, or after urological procedures. Swallow it whole with water, with or after meals, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Drinking enough fluids unless advised otherwise, cutting down on caffeine, spicy food and alcohol, and maintaining good personal hygiene support bladder health.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, a urinary blockage or a bowel obstruction, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. This medicine can cause drowsiness or blurred vision, so take care when driving. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
