Formonide 200 Inhaler is used for the long-term control of asthma and COPD in adults and adolescents. It reduces airway inflammation and helps prevent wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness. It is not for the relief of a sudden attack.
It combines budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles.
Use it regularly as prescribed, and rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of thrush. Always keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler for sudden symptoms.
Tell your doctor about any heart problems, diabetes or liver disease before starting. Avoiding triggers and not smoking support treatment.
