Freedase 30 tablet is a prescription medication primarily used as a birth control pill to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Apart from its contraceptive benefits, this medicine may also be prescribed for other purposes, such as regulating menstrual cycles, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (severe premenstrual mood symptoms) and moderate acne vulgaris.
The composition of this tablet includes two active ingredients: ethinyl estradiol (30mcg) and dienogest (2mg).
This tablet should only be used under the guidance of a doctor. While Freedase 30 is generally safe and effective, it may not suit everyone. Patients with a history of blood clots in the lungs, legs, or other clotting disorders should not take it until prescribed by a doctor.
Patients with a history of heart attacks, strokes, angina, or other heart-related conditions should consult their doctor before using Freedase 30 tablet. Individuals with a family history of certain hormone-related cancers, such as uterus, or breast cancer, should also inform their doctor before taking this medicine.
