Fruselac Tablet is used to reduce fluid retention, manage oedema, and control high blood pressure. It helps support heart and kidney function, and maintains potassium balance, improving overall fluid regulation in the body and providing relief from symptoms of excess fluid buildup.

Here's how you should take Fruselac Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Crushing or chewing the tablet is not advisable.
• It is generally recommended to take this medicine in the morning with breakfast to avoid frequent urination during the night.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Fruselac Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to alleviate symptoms of fluid retention and lower blood pressure:

• Frusemide (20 mg): This ingredient acts on a part of your kidneys called the loop of Henle. It inhibits the reabsorption of sodium, chloride, and water in this area. This action leads to increased urine production, which reduces blood volume and subsequently lowers blood pressure.
• Spironolactone (50 mg): This component is an aldosterone antagonist—it blocks the action of aldosterone in your body. Aldosterone is a hormone that promotes sodium retention while increasing potassium excretion. By blocking aldosterone’s action, spironolactone helps your body retain potassium while increasing the excretion of sodium and water.

• Keep your Fruselac Tablet in a dry place, away from dampness and moisture.
• Store at a temperature below 25°C.
• Protect the medicine from light exposure.
• Make sure to keep the tablet out of reach of children.

• To manage ascites and hypertension effectively, reduce your salt intake as it can increase fluid retention and blood pressure.
• Stay well-hydrated to prevent dehydration due to increased urination, but avoid beverages that may increase fluid retention like alcohol and coffee.
