Glizid-MR 30 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults, controlling blood sugar through the day and helping reduce the long-term risk of nerve, kidney and eye damage.
It contains gliclazide, a sulfonylurea, in a modified-release form. It works by helping the pancreas release more insulin.
Swallow the tablet whole with breakfast, without crushing or chewing, and do not skip that meal, as this can cause low blood sugar. Carry a fast-acting sugar source.
Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before use. Report signs of low blood sugar such as shaking, sweating and dizziness.
