Glycomet Trio 2 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It helps lower blood sugar levels by improving insulin sensitivity, reducing glucose production, and enhancing glucose utilization in the body. When taken along with a healthy diet and regular exercise, it supports better long-term blood sugar control.

• Glycomet trio 2 tablet should be taken with or after meals, which helps reduce the side effects.
• Do not chew or break the medicine.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

The route of administration of Glycomet Trio 2 tablet is oral.

Glycomet Trio 2 Tablet contains:

• Metformin (biguanide) -helps reduce glucose production in the liver, Delays intestine’s glucose absorption thereby reducing appetite and calorie intake and also increases insulin sensitivity.
• Glimepiride (Sulfonylurea) - helps increase insulin secretion by the pancreas thus lowering blood glucose levels.
• Voglibose (Alpha glucosidase inhibitor) - delays glucose absorption at the intestine after a meal, prevents postprandial hyperglycemia and also reduces the risk of developing diabetes related macrovascular complications

• Store the medicine at a temperature not exceeding 25 degree celsius.
• Do not use the medicine after the passage of expiry date. 
• Keep it away from direct sunlight. 
• The medicine should be kept away from moisture. 
• Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.
