Herpikind-400 Tablet is used for treating various herpes-related conditions, including genital herpes infections, shingles, herpes labialis (cold sores), and chickenpox. It helps reduce the symptoms of these viral infections, including pain and discomfort, and speeds up the healing process.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed time for better results.

Herpikind-400 Tablet is taken orally. 

Herpikind-400 Tablet contains the following component:

• Acyclovir (400 mg): It is a synthetic nucleoside analogue. It penetrates virus-infected cells, where it undergoes intracellular conversion to an active form. This active form of acyclovir inhibits the virus's capacity to replicate its DNA, thereby interrupting the process of DNA replication. By disrupting DNA replication, acyclovir effectively hinders the virus from multiplying, resulting in a reduction of both the severity and duration of the infection.

The storage instructions for the Herpikind-400 Tablet are as follows:

• Herpikind-400 Tablet should be stored at room temperature at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
