Inapure 5 Tablet is used to manage chronic stable angina and chronic heart failure in adults who have a raised resting heart rate, particularly those who cannot take or do not respond well enough to beta-blockers.
It contains ivabradine. It works by slowing the heart rate through a specific channel in the heart's pacemaker, which reduces the heart's workload without lowering blood pressure much.
Take it with meals as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly without medical advice. Attend the heart-rate and blood-pressure checks your doctor arranges.
Tell your doctor about any heart-rhythm problems, liver problems, or other medicines that slow the heart, before use. You may notice brief flashes of brightness in your vision, especially with sudden changes in light. Report a very slow pulse, severe dizziness or fainting.
