Iprazest Respules is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): This lung disease is characterised by the persistent restriction of airflow from the lungs, making breathing difficult.

• Control of bronchospasm: This condition involves the narrowing of airways in the lungs, leading to breathing difficulties.

• Prevention of symptoms associated with chronic bronchitis: It is inflammation and narrowing of the bronchi, leading to mucus build-up and coughing.

To use Iprazest Respules correctly, follow these instructions:

• Wash your hands thoroughly and assemble the nebulizer.

• Twist off the top of the respule and squeeze the contents into the nebulizer cup.

• Shake well before use.

• Attach the nebulizer cup to the mouthpiece or mask, and then to the air compressor.

• Inhale the medicine slowly and deeply over 5 to 15 minutes until the nebulizer cup is empty.

• Gargle with warm water after each inhalation to prevent fungal infections in your mouth and throat.

• Clean your nebuliser as directed after each use to prevent infection.

Iprazest Respules are administered via inhalation with respirator or nebulizer only.

Iprazest Respules contain two active ingredients that work together to facilitate easier breathing:

• Ipratropium bromide (0.5 mg): This anticholinergic bronchodilator blocks acetylcholine, a chemical that can cause contraction of airway muscles and mucus secretion. By reducing these effects, it helps widen the airways and decrease mucus production.

• Levosalbutamol (1.25 mg): This ingredient acts as a beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist. It stimulates receptors in the lungs, causing relaxation of muscles lining the airways. This action allows air to flow in and out more easily.

The combination of these two components provides both quick relief and prolonged management of bronchospasms in patients with COPD. Levosalbutamol offers immediate bronchodilation within minutes while ipratropium ensures longer-lasting relief.
