Ismo 10 Tablet contains isosorbide mononitrate, a coronary vasodilator used to prevent stable chest pain (angina) by widening blood vessels and reducing the heart's oxygen demand. It is a long-term treatment often prescribed for regular use.
This medicine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which reduces the heart's workload and improves blood flow to the heart muscle, helping to prevent angina attacks with regular use.
Take this tablet daily, swallowed whole with water, at the same time each day as your doctor advises. It is meant to prevent angina attacks rather than relieve one that has already started.
Never take this medicine together with sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil or other PDE5-inhibitors, or with nicorandil, as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure, recent heart attack, or if you feel dizzy or light-headed after a dose.
