• Antacids should be taken either one hour before or two hours after taking this medicine.

• Increases Fungal Membrane Permeability: By blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane that regulates its fluidity and integrity, itraconazole causes an increase in the permeability of the fungal membrane. This leads to leakage of cellular components.
