Lasma Lc Kid Tablet 10

Lasma-LC Kid Tablet can be used for managing the following health conditions:

• Allergic rhinitis in children

• Asthma in pediatric patients

• Simultaneous management of asthma and allergic rhinitis in children

Administer Lasma-LC Kid Tablet to your child as follows:

• Give the tablet whole without breaking or chewing it.

• You can give the tablet with or without food.

• Make sure your child swallows the tablet, do not let them chew it.

• Remember to follow the dosage as advised by your child's doctor.

• If you have any concerns or queries, consult your doctor.

Lasma-LC Kid Tablet is given orally to your child.

Lasma-LC Kid Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This ingredient is a long-acting antihistamine that works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. Histamine is a substance that causes allergy symptoms. By blocking its action, levocetirizine helps reduce these symptoms.

• Montelukast (4 mg): Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist which means it blocks the action of substances called leukotrienes in the airways. Leukotrienes contribute to inflammation, tightening of airways and production of mucus – all of which can make breathing difficult in conditions like asthma or allergies. By blocking their action, montelukast contributes to better control of asthma symptoms and relief from allergic rhinitis symptoms.

• Store Lasma-LC Kid Tablet below 25°C in a dry place.

• Shield the medicine from light and moisture to preserve its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of your child's reach.

• Remember to use the medicine before its expiry date.

• To support your child's bronchial health, aim to maintain a dust-free environment at home. Avoid exposure to pollutants, smoke, and other allergens that could exacerbate asthma or allergic rhinitis symptoms.

• Encourage your child to drink plenty of water. Hydration is important in managing allergies, as it helps thin mucus in the nasal passages, relieving congestion and making breathing easier.
