Lecope M Tablet 10

Lecope-M Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis: Providing relief from symptoms caused by airborne allergens such as pollen, dust mites, and pet dander.
• Control of chronic idiopathic urticaria: Reducing persistent itching and hives that last for over six weeks with unknown causes.
• Prevention of allergic asthma: Assisting in preventing symptoms and worsening of asthma triggered by exposure to allergens or physical activity.

• The tablet should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• It's crucial not to exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Lecope-M Tablet is taken orally.

Lecope-M Tablet contains two active ingredients, levocetirizine (5 mg) and montelukast (10 mg):

• Levocetirizine (5 mg): As an antihistamine, levocetirizine works by blocking the action of histamine - a chemical messenger involved in allergic reactions. When histamine is blocked, symptoms like sneezing, itching, watery eyes and runny nose are significantly reduced.
• Montelukast (10 mg): This ingredient is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotrienes are substances in the body that are known to cause inflammation and swelling in the airways during an allergic reaction. By blocking these leukotrienes, montelukast helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways, making breathing easier.

• Keep your Lecope-M Tablet in a dry place, away from moisture and light.
• Make sure to keep it out of reach of children.
